Head Chef - 51m
Our client is looking for a female Head Chef to join their team on a 51m motor yacht. Although primarily private, they plan a couple weeklong guests’ trips for the summer, so there will be times when the normally relaxed environment may go a bit nutty.
Ideal candidate for this position has 2 years yachting experience, or at least one year of yachting and several years in high end restaurants. Owners and guests insist on healthy, balanced menus, so we can definitely say that deep fried or frozen meals requests are not something you could expect here.
If you bring experience to the table and take pride in proactive, hands on attitude followed by solid longevity, please, keep reading. Joining point will be Fort Lauderdale on 26th of May, and you will get proper 2 days hand over with outgoing chef. After that, yacht should depart on the first week of June for the Bahamas and then on to Newport RI for the summer.
To be considered, candidates do need:
- STCW Basic Training
- ENG1
- B1 valid for at least 2 more years (if required)
- 2 years experience in yachting or one in yachting and few in high end restaurants
- No history of leaving programs in the lurch
- Female - this is a shared cabin with another female.
- English spoken and written at "Native" level
- Fully vaccinated
- Smoking or vaping ARE deal breakers
Health insurance
Non-rotation, they accrue 3.14 days leave per month.
1 round trip vacation flight per year
We do not share wages in either direction - but the wages are certainly good!
