We have a unique opportunity for that candidate ready to step up to Mate / Tender Captain. This under 40m yacht live almost entirely in Miami - with some trips to the Islands. It is a Monday to Friday gig, yes, that means weekends off, so crew with a home life are back home nights and weekends.  

When on a guest trip, you will clearly not get home, but the Captain is great about getting you additional time after the trip to make up for the weekends worked.

The owners? Long term yachting professionals who treat the crew like people.

So the job is perfect....almost. You have to work.

On the yacht, you are very hands on - the deck is your bailiwick - you keep her in great condition. The real trick, you can drive the fishing boats - three engines, a tower, an owner who loves to fish. That is where you shine. You don't have to be a fishing expert (but if you are - that is a big plus), but some familiarity is important.

As the owner likes to be driven around the Miami area on the tenders/fishing boats, you get some good face time with him and his guests.

The program is civilized, no big parties, maybe a bit slow at times. 

The wages are quite good - and no, we still do not share wages.

When on a guest trip, you do share a cabin with the Engineer, so only male candidates can be considered, and they are only able to consider US Passport holders / Green Card holders.
